My third grader does well with his times tables, but as any parent knows the goal is for times tables to be cemented in long term memeory. Sharp EL-2196BL Heavy Duty Color Printing Calculator with Clock and Calendar This instant

Prices of desk-top calculators continue to come down. But the quality of the products remains high. This is a wonderful calculator. I have been using Sharp products all my life...and will continue to do so!

This compact calculator is a good choice if you want to use a calculator for simple day to day calculations.

It's slim and portable. The folding ability provides protection, but it's also nice because you can angle the display to your liking. You can lay it down while using it, however, the design actually allows for comfortable 2-handed use.

The keys are big and soft, and have a nice arrangement on the calculator.. but I think I would have actually prefered a harder set of keys.
